Buckingham Palace Garden Party

We are delighted to share some wonderful news: Mrs Joyce attended a Buckingham Palace Garden Party last Friday, hosted by The Prince and Princess of Wales (William and Catherine). The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh (Edward and Sophie), and Zara Tindall were also in attendance, making it a truly memorable occasion.

Garden Party guests are nominated within their county in recognition of significant contributions to their local community. Those selected by the relevant Lord-Lieutenant are then put forward, and invitations are issued by the Lord Chancellor.

All of us at Linden House are incredibly proud of Mrs Joyce and the passion she brings to championing Adult Social Care in Somerset and raising issues, affecting the sector, on national platforms. Please join us in congratulating her on this well-deserved recognition!

Middlezoy Aerodrome

Linden House would like to thank all at Middlezoy Aerodrome (especially Paul, Simon, Dave and Dave) for a day of a lifetime for Barry, Richard, Paul and Mrs J. Barry especially was in his element talking "planes"! They made us feel so welcome in their Nissen hut clubhouse, gave us lunch, shared stories,  took us on a tour of the planes they have rescued and rebuilt and then treated us to a flypast of 3 of their planes....even arranging a white vapour trail in honour of Barry's long career and love of planes. They even had a plane of the type that Barry took his first flight in the 1930s! Very special. They were so kind and thoughtful and have invited us back next weekend when they have planes dating from World War II flying in to  visit. A lovely bunch of really interesting and kind plane-loving men who were so generous with their time. We had a fantastic day!"
